Last year our lease was up and we had to move. We had 30 days to find a new place that allowed pets and wasn't outrageously over priced. We lucked out and got a tiny little house in a tiny little neighborhood in Salem. We were excited because it wasn't an apartment, it was a real house. The best part was it had...I will call it a little courtyard. A place where we could plant things and watch them grow. So this last spring we got some seeds, plants, dirt, plant food, and so on. Was our little courtyard worth a $250.00 electricty bill? Probably not, but what can you do?( MOVE!) We are hoping to find a new place before the big winter freeze comes, but until then here are some fruits of our labors.
Courtyard bliss!
Yeah more collages...I don't like waiting for all the pictures to upload. Anyway here we are having a little front yard BBQ. Mom~ Todd really liked your corn!
All of the following flowers we grew from seed!

CUTE!
You're still in Salem? For some reason, I thought you had moved. Which area are you in? Your flowers are gorgeous! Your hard work (and money) paid off!
Lovely pictures! Although MJ looks high and Copper has crazy eyes. I'm glad Todd loved my corn, him and the dogs are probably the only ones that did. Everything looks really good!
Kyo loved the corn too. I have never seen a dog eat corn, until I witnessed Kyo take 3 pieces of corn out of the compost. He ate all the corn left the part you don't eat. At least now I know which poop is his.
I am so proud of you because...
1. your garden is beautiful.
2. you are a bloggin fool!
Thank you for having that deal with Kristen, the camera and blogging.) Your pictures are great and the blog I love. I noticed all the flowers when we were up for Joshua's birthday party. They were awesome. One of these days you can have a home that you can do more gardening and planting in. Yes it does cost but if it brings beauty and joy and happiness to you it is worth it. Love the flowers.
