While we were making our shopping list and menu this month, Josh got really excited about something he wanted to make... Monkey Bread! So while we were shopping he called his dad and got the recipe. We had the Elders for dinner last week, so Josh made them Monkey Bread. He was really excited and it turned out to be really yummy! Thank goodness for secret family recipes that get passed on from generation to generation! One Elder had never had it before and the other was really excited. We had to give it to them to go because it wasn't done in time, but it was worth the wait in my book! Oh and Josh is a pretty good little chef!
Finished product! Not bad!
Half gone in about a tenth of the time it took to make it!
We did share with the Elders...I promise!
Josh was really excited! I told you!
P.S. we know the recipe comes on the cans of biscuits...and so does Josh now too!
And, on a really gross side note...Josh found this spider crawling across the great room floor!

Monkey Bread is the one food I remember having at a Bennett family reunion in Indiana when I was a girl. The one that Josh made looks delish!
that is disgusting. the spider ruined my appetite for the bread!
When we got the monkey bread recipe I don't think they had it in the stores so it was new to us from Linden's sister. As for the spider it is really disgusting. Why do guys like things like this so much.
